Industrial or listed buildings that have been vacant for at least five years and are converted into residential use or restored/reconstructed → €250,000 minimum
GOLDEN VISA
Since 2013, non-EU nationals and their families have been offered the opportunity to invest in real estate and earn a 7-year renewable residency through the Greek Golden Visa Program. Furthermore, this program gives applicants the chance to experience Greek life, look into European travel options, as well as consider obtaining permanent citizenship. It offers investment potential, mobility, and lifestyle all in a single unique package.
Processing Time
A Greece residence permit typically takes three to six months to process, depending on the supporting documentation along with property verification.
Greek residents are granted visa-free entry into 29 European countries, including all Schengen Area countries, and are permitted to reside for up to 90 days in each Schengen country during a six-month period.
The primary route is real estate investing, which offers an opportunity of both rental income and property appreciation.
To be eligible for the program, applicants must invest a minimum of €250,000 in eligible real estate; higher amounts are occasionally required for premium properties or particular regions.
The program actually covers spouses and children below 21 years of age. Parents and parents-in-law may also be eligible under certain conditions.
